🚨 What is Eye Medical Standards in Railway Recruitment?
Railway की किसी भी technical या non-technical post के लिए selection process में medical test एक बहुत जरूरी step होता है। खासकर Eye Medical Standards को ले कर candidates के बीच अक्सर confusion होता है। इस पोस्ट में हम बताएंगे कि A1, A3, B1 और B2 vision standards क्या होते हैं, और कौन-से candidates किस category में eligible होते हैं।
🔴 A1 – Highest Medical Standard (ALP के लिए)
- ये सबसे strict standard होता है – Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) जैसी high responsibility वाली post के लिए।
- Eyesight: 6/6 या 6/9 in both eyes (without glasses) जरूरी है।
- Glasses allowed नहीं हैं। मतलब अगर आपकी नजर कमजोर है और आप चश्मा पहनते हैं, तो A1 के लिए आप eligible नहीं होंगे।
A1 में selection के लिए आपकी natural vision perfect होनी चाहिए – कोई eye correction device use नहीं कर सकते।
🟠 A3 – थोड़ा flexible, लेकिन limit में
- Vision: 6/9 या 6/9 – यह नजर या तो with या without glasses हो सकती है।
- Glasses allowed हैं, लेकिन एक सीमा के अंदर।
- Diopter range: +2.0 से ज्यादा या -2.0 से ज्यादा नहीं होना चाहिए।
🟡 B1 – Moderate standard, ज्यादा लोगों के लिए accessible
- Vision: 6/9 या 6/12 (with या without glasses)
- Maximum diopter limit: ±4.0 तक allowed है।
- B1 category वाली jobs में color vision test भी हो सकता है।
- अगर आपकी नजर थोड़ी कमज़ोर है, तो भी आप B1 में eligible हो सकते हैं।
🟢 B2 – Relaxed category
- Vision: 6/9 या 6/12 – with या without glasses allowed है।
- Diopter limit: ±4.0 तक मान्य है।
- No color vision test – इसका मतलब color blindness वाले भी eligible हो सकते हैं।

अगर आपकी नजर थोड़ी कमजोर है और आप glasses use करते हैं, तो आप B1 और B2 categories के लिए suitable हो सकते हैं।
👉 इसलिए फॉर्म भरने से पहले अपने eye test जरूर करवा लें और यह जान लें कि आपकी vision किस category में आती है। इससे आपको सही post select करने में आसानी होगी और medical में reject होने का डर भी नहीं रहेगा।
